On June 11, the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference hosted its fifth annual Senior All-Star baseball game!

The North team, comprised of players from Edgewood, C. Milton Wright, Bohemia Manor, Rising Sun, Fallston, Bel Air, and Harford Tech, won the game by the final score of 6-4. The group finished with 11 hits, while Jonah Einsig from Bel Air got the win on the mound, while Drew Gagnon, also from Bel Air, got the save.

The South team was made up of seniors from Patterson Mill, North Harford, Elkton, Havre de Grace, North East, Aberdeen and Perryville. The group finished with seven hits, but committed three errors.

It did not take long for the North squad to get on the scoreboard. Bel Air's Andrew Sunday laced a single in the top of the first inning, which plated Einsig. Johnny Kampes from Rising Sun also smacked a triple, then scored on fellow Tiger Colin Harley's double.

The South team scored all its runs in the fourth inning to take a 4-2 lead. North East's Payton Hoskins plated the first run on a bases loaded walk, before RBI singles from Steve Spencer and Thomas Kragh put the South team ahead. Max Elliott, also of Patterson Mill, hit a sacrifice fly to push across the final run of the rally.

The lead wouldn't last though, as the North team put together its own four run inning to end the scoring. Much like the South team's rally, the North got its first run of the rally on a bases loaded free pass, this time on a hit by pitch, from Harford Tech's Carter Raab. A wild pitch then evened the score, before Edgewood duo Justin Rockel and Mekhi Dunnock plated runs with RBI singles.
