ACCE Baseball

The baseball team from the Academy for College and Career Exploration (ACCE) put together another strong season on the diamond. The Eagles finished 12-3 and made it to the Baltimore City Championship game at Orioles Park at Camden Yards, where they lost to Digital Harbor 16-7.

ACCE relied on a strong offense this season. The team recorded victories in which they won with 21, 15 and 13 runs scored. They also scored 12 runs in three different victories. They also topped perennial Baltimore City powers Baltimore City College and Dunbar.

The Eagles were led by a trio of seniors who all had terrific individual campaigns: pitcher/third-baseman Jeffrey London, pitcher/infielder Joseph Laumann and outfielder Devin Biggers. "I'm very proud of our team," head coach Todd Henning said. "The boys played extremely well this year and really came together as a team. It was an honor to coach them."
